Why Northern Michigan
The Leelanau Peninsula juts into Lake Michigan and is lined with vineyards, cherry orchards, and small fishing villages that have barely changed in a hundred years. Traverse City sits on the bay, a town that pulls off world-class food and wine without losing its small-town charm.
Good Morning America called Sleeping Bear Dunes the most beautiful place in America. The National Cherry Festival draws hundreds of thousands every July. The trees changing in fall against the water is one of the most beautiful backdrops in the Midwest. And yet, most of this area is still largely undiscovered by visitors... unless you know where to look.
That's what these guides are for.
